Cleaning it up Out comes the vacuum We remove the covers, inspect internal cables and fans, inspect air filters and airways, then vacuum and blow out the interior spaces. Lubrication Time to get greasy Proper lubrication is not only required per the manufacturers owner’s manual, it is simply critical to the long term, safe operation of your gantry. ![]() We apply lubrication as recommended by the original equipment manufacturer. We also inspect mechanical items such as ball screws, ACME screws, ACME nuts, and gears for ex-cessive were. For your records, we will document the PM check on our comprehensive service report form. |
Almost Done! Time to tune it up! We’ll take some pictures in its current condition and save them to disk. Original tuning and correction will be backed up. Tuning and correction files are now acquired. The final floods and bars are acquired and discussed with the nuclear technologist. If further work is required it will be scheduled at the convenience of the nuclear tech and facility. ![]() ![]() |
